How to cancel your OnsiteHand subscription and what to expect

This Cancellation Policy applies to subscriptions and paid access provided by ONSITEHAND LIMITED through the OnSiteHand platform. ONSITEHAND LIMITED is a private limited company registered in England and Wales with company number 17186065, registered office Unit A449, 4-6 Greatorex Street, London, E1 5NF, United Kingdom. It explains how to cancel your subscription and what happens when you do.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your OnsiteHand subscription at any time:
- Log in to your OnsiteHand account
- Go to your Dashboard
- Navigate to the Subscription or Billing section
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
Alternatively, you can email us at billing@onsitehand.co.uk to request cancellation.
When Cancellation Takes Effect
When you cancel:
- Immediately: No further payments will be taken
- Until period end: You retain access to your subscription features until the end of your current billing period
- After period end: Your account reverts to free/limited access
Cancelling stops future renewals but does not provide a refund for the current period.
What Happens to Your Credits
When your subscription ends:
- Remaining credits are preserved - they stay in your account
- Credits can be used if you resubscribe in the future
- Credits do not expire while your account remains active
- Credits cannot be refunded or converted to cash
What Happens to Your Profile
For tradespeople:
- Your profile remains visible to employers
- You can still receive messages and offers
- Premium features (if any) may be limited
For employers:
- You lose access to premium search features
- You cannot initiate new conversations without credits
- Existing conversations remain accessible
- Your account and history are preserved
Resubscribing
You can resubscribe at any time:
- Your previous credits will still be available
- Your profile and history are retained
- You can choose any available subscription plan
Account Deletion vs Cancellation
Cancelling your subscription is different from deleting your account:
- Cancellation: Stops billing but keeps your account, profile, and history
- Account deletion: Permanently removes your data from our platform

Free Trial Cancellation
If you are on a free trial:
- You can cancel anytime before the trial ends
- No payment will be taken if you cancel before the trial expires
- After the trial ends, you will be charged unless you have cancelled
Cancellation During Disputes
If you have an ongoing dispute or support case:
- You can still cancel your subscription
- Outstanding issues will continue to be addressed
- Refund eligibility is determined separately (see our Refund Policy)
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
